GNSS Downstream Industry Benefits |

In the autumn of 2007, ESYS carried out an assessment of the UK Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) downstream industry benefits.
Previous analyses by ESYS in 2001 and 2005 also included an assessment of upstream industry benefits (developing satellites etc) and user benefits. However, the scope of this report has been limited to the UK GNSS downstream benefits of the road transport and LBS (mobile phones) markets which account for 98% of the overall GNSS predicted revenues.
